SC235 and sweet dreamers 1: recipe cards for PDD Wednesday

And this tie i am pretty sure it really is wednesday – though i would have to ask someone before i bet money…  My project for PDD wednesday is a 2fer yay!!!

I used the sketch challenge from SCS today and my project is for the FIRST challenge in a new blog group I just joined over on SCS – Sweet Dreamers!  Mary challenged us to do a sort of get-to-know-you project – we had to use our favorite color(s) and had to depict a fave activity other than stamping.

 

Here are my projects:

I used purple and green as my colors – i just love them together!  and the projects themselves are recipe cards for each of the boys’ recipe books.  this worked out because one of my fave things to do (before pezzy took over anyway) is to cook.  This recipe for Hamburger Corn Bake is a hands down family fave that EVERYONE loves – which is a hard feat!  i also incorporated some other faves – my fave background stamp from my Polkadot Pie, stamped in my favorite ink – Brilliance pearlescent, incorporating my two fave patterns – stripes and dots and using my two fave embellies – my exclusive glittered skittles and pezabling acrylic squares!  i ahve been trying to keep these fairly simple since they need to be USEABLE.
