WOW what a fantastic response to my sale yesterday!  glad everyone had fun shopping!!!  and now i will spend the day packing and shipping!  i already warned Drake he will be watching his baby sissy for me today!  and now i have something SUPER for you!

I have had loats of requests for more digi’s so i thought i would offer up a few for the holidays!

The BEST part – TWO of them are done by my unbelievably talented brother!!!  i have been begging him for AGES to do some for me because i SO love his style and so he supplied me with several Christmas designs and i have 2 here as digis and will have 2 more coming soon in rubber!  His designs have wonderful detail plus shading which is really helpful when coloring *wink* and a very vintage/old world feel:

The other 2 digi’s out today are holiday nestie frames for Labels 4 done once again by my mom!  i love her little frames and they are just a perfect touch for whatever main image i am doing:

This last one with the pinecone is the same style as her gorgeous set of pinecone stamps she did for me last year and i used recently for an SCS color challenge here.

These are all available on the digi page on my website.  When you order I will email you the stamp files right away.  Several of the Playgroup girls have posts up today using the digis and some have used the pinecone stamp set so be sure to check them all out using the links at the top left sidebar!

sfytt092609and now here is mine using Jen’s fabby SFYTT– i decided to use the candle frame one and paired it up with an image i just got from CTMH:

i just love the way the frame dresses up the card and focal point!  i used to be very ANTI non-traditional Christmas colors but i am finding myself liking them more and more lately.  i dressed the card up a bit with some glittered skittles and a prima poinsettia and by using a spellbinders pendant instead of a plain circle.  the ruby liquid pearls were Pezzy’s idea 🙂

Once again i used my friend Molly’s incredible shimmering Creative Inspirations paints after coloring the image with my copics.  i used them a bit watered down so the shimmer was still crazy good but at the same time the shading i did with the copics is still visible too.  The green bow and shoes have Green Olive, The red present has Rose Quartz and the blue bows, candle flame and the hat have Winter Frost.

and now off to find that older brother/babysitter…..

Have a wonderful day everyone!!!!

SO i was playing with another one of my mom’s nestie frame designs getting it ready for rubber and decided to use it digi style for this week’s mojo sketch

i rarely do cards outside of the A2 size/shape but this sketch fit the frame i was working on so well that i just had to whip something up – i flipped it upside down and used ribbon instead of a sentiment tag and then paired the frame with this ADORABLE snail image from Whiff of Joy:
snail & flower scroll border

do YOU want to try out one of these new frames for free????  download it here and then just adjust the size to fit whichever size nestie you want to use.  of course this one will work WITHOUT this particular nestie too – i think it would look great cut as a rectangle and then punch the corners with a fancy corner punch.  here is a closer look:

i would LOVE to hear what you think of the stamp and see what you create so how about a chance to win the whole set of new releases FOR FREE!!!!!

HOW???  just make a card (or anything you want) with this freebie, post it to your blog or any online gallery where you usually share your work and then leave me a comment with the link so i can go check it out!  The new releases will include 2 more nestie frames, 2 new princesses and 2 new picnicin’ buggie friends! you have until wednesday 6/24/09 at 6am my time (eastern time) to enter.

if you are a studio G fanatic like me you WILL NOT want to miss tomorrow’s post – big news for ya!  (which i need to go work on…)

have a fanTASTic day!

Today’s card uses digi images – i know there is a lot of debate about these.  i have a laser printer so i never battle the ink bleeding like some do.  the fun thing about digi *stamps* is that they are completely customizable as far as size and orientation (tho i still love rubber because i can do so much more with it).

Sketch For You To Try

Sketch For You To Try

i used Jen’s fun SFYTT for this one

and here is my card:

i combined several digi images for this one – the framework that fits inside the nestie was done from a sketch my mom did for me that i digitized.  the two little birds and their birdbath are digi stamps from all that scraps.  i was able to re-size, rotate and flip the images so the fit just right within my frame.

i would love to hear what you think!  comments always make my day!!
