did you enter the blog candy >>HERE<< for the next elisabeth bell release???
today i DO have a project for ya! i used today’s sketch on SCS to do my project for the current Think Ink challenge – make anything but a card using red, white n blue. i decided to make a gift bag with a wonderful cake image from the Birthday Best set at Artful Inkables:
i just couldn’t bring myself to do the strict red, white n blue july 4th deal so i went with colors slightly off. i do love the way they look together! the white panels both have cuttlebug embossing on them to mtch the cake layers. i colored the cake with copics and did the flames with some glaze pens. i made my little embellies from polymer clay. the upcoming issue of Through the Craft Room Door focuses on embellishments and i will be doing a video showing how to make these over on the magazine website!
I hope you join in on the Think Ink challenge and if you have not browsed through the stamp sets from Artful Inkables i urge you to do so – they are SO cute! and SO versatile! i just got the newest ones that will be released soon *swoon* WAY TOO CUTE!!!!!
i hope y’all all had a great start to your week!
hugs!
