Ta Da!!!!

hi everyone!
oh boy am i excited! i have been sitting on this for awhile and i finally get to debut it! susana and i have been fascinated with Viva Decor products for some time and we love experimentation. when susana called me and told me about her latest discovery i was intrigued.  i would love to introduce you to Viva Decor Crystal Gel:

So what the heck is it? it is a creamy thick semi transparent gel that hardens and won’t lose its shape. the best part is the blue silicone mold you see in the picture.  what susana discovered is that you can put the gel in the molds, let it harden and pop it out – perfect embellishment!  You can find these on the same page as the gel but be sure to read the description carefully.  for example on the mold i used – the image only shows one each of the four different flowers you can make BUT the mold itself actually makes 9 flowers at once.  i LOVE that! and the colors – YUMMY! many with a metallic shimmer to them. one even has flakes of holographic mica in it!

The image is by Carmen Medlin and part of the Natural Beauty Collection – Dances with Dragonlfies. she is colored with Copics and I used Pink Highlights Creative Inspirations paints for her wings and the trim on her gown.

and those embellishments – do you love them??? notice the crazy awesome blue ones??? they are the same gel as the others but i gave them a wash of color with Viva Decor Precious Metal Paints. the best part – the mica flakes still shine through! so how did i do it? take a look at these two videos and they will answer all of your questions!
