Some more colored pencil pics…

hi everyone!

the latest issue of our magazine, Through the Class Room Door is looking GOOD!!!  I have been working on it like crazy with time to do little else but i DO love it!  We are approaching our 1st anniversary!  hard to believe it’s been a year.  Remember, if you were one of our first subscribers you need to renew so you don’t miss anything!  This issue focuses on Easter, Spring and buttons!

As y’all know i am working on a colored pencil class for Color Me Creative and i wanted to give a peek at some of the colored pencil images i did for the magazine:

Both of these are from Lilly of the Valley – i just love those stamps!  Both are done in colored pencil – no gamsol or other blending – just colored pencil!  i know many folks are leary of Gamsol or other odorless mineral spirits.  i never used it until i heard of it being used by stampers.  but all of the various methods of shading and blending will be covered in the classes so you can choose what works best for you!

before i go one more thing – a winner for the teresa collins goodies!  the winner is carol-cyimbitten – congrats!  and now a confession – i have been TOTALLY behind getting these prizes out!  but they are packaged hope and will all go out tomorrow 😛

don’t forget to check out what’s up next for submissions to Through the Craft Room Door!  we want more of YOU in the magazine!!!

short post today as i still have lots to do!

hugs
