hi all!  happy monday!  😛 is that an oxymoron???

i had a working weekend and BOY did i work!!!  and this week will be the same as i prepare for CHA next week.  Saturday i worked for nearly 18 hours straight – hubby said i am crazy.  so yesterday i worked all morning and then he got me out of the house because he knew i wouldn’t take a break as long as i was in the house!  so he took me & pezza out to lunch at the Olive Garden YUM-YUM-YUMMY!!!!!  oh how i love the olive garden.  and then we went to the bookstore – pezza has been VERY interested in geography so i wanted to get her a good atlas (i recommend the National Geographic one), kev picked out a few books for himself and i got a couple magazines.  those things can be more expensive than a freakin’ book – it’s nuts!  i got cloth paper scissors as i am getting more and more interested in mixed media type stuff but i was a little disappointed…

so today is THE day – my two latest Cricut classes officially launch over on Color Me Creative – it is an online classroom which is really cool.  it means you can take classes at your own pace and replay stuff you are struggling with or go back to it later if you need to refresh your memory on something.  there is a cricut basics 2 class – basically getting to know your expression in depth – exactly what ARE all those buttons for?!??!?  well with this class you will KNOW!

the second one was REALLY fun to do – it is a project class that focuses on the Pagoda Cartridge and here is a pic of everything you will make in the class:

In the class we go through the main characters as well as all of the Creative Features in depth, make projects with all of them and then do a special projects feature using Vinyl.  The class also includes several bonus lesson on unique background techniques and tips for cardmaking and cricutting in general.  You end up with more than a dozen completed items!

there is still time to get $5 off of your registration fee today and tomorrow!

After a little house cleaning i hope to spend most of the day in my studio today!
