elegant simplicity with artful INKables

helloooooo all!

getting an early start on my posting today – because it seems that once my day gets rolling it’s hard to stop again!  we went to eat at taco bell last night to see trevor in action – it was a madhouse because they had all hands on deck but the food was good and trevor is doing well.  pez had a blast – since it was family only pez got to mingle a bit more than we usually would let her.  of course she made the most of it and was talking up everyone around us.  but the funniest part was toward the end – all of the workers were getting food and sitting in the dining room taking a break.  so pez walks over to one of the girls and cocks her head to the side and says you know….you really should be WORKING and she flip sher hand over her shoulder.  the whole table was CRACKING up then trev came home he told us the girl she said that to is the owner’s daughter!

i have a CAS (clean and simple) card for you today:

i used cardstock from Couture Cardstock for my card today.  i got a paper pack called Parisian Ephemera Collection – a nice mix of various papers to try out and i must say i really like it!  the papers are various weights and textures and the colors are GREAT!

i used the Bugs and Blossoms Mandalas set from Artful INKables again – such a gorgeous set of stamps!  i really wanted to show off the details of the image so i simply stamped it with Versamark and embossed in silver.  then i added a few details by coloring in with a black copic marker.  i kept the rest of the card simple to avoid distraction.

this is just one of so MANY ideas i have for this set – don’t you just LOVE a set that FILLS you with endless ideas!

i hope you all have a great day!
