fun in the grass!

hi all!

i hope you’re having a nice friday evening!  Pezzy and i ventured to the mall for a bday gift for daddy.  while we were there she got a proper haircut, rode the little train AND the carousel, we both got some shoes and we had lunch at the cheescake factory -OH and rode the escalators about a million times!  and she behaved perfectly – there’s hope!!  quite a great day!

in addition to our adventure at the mall  i did another video for Viva Decor – this one on Modeling Grass.  so i thought i would show you the cards i made during the video – you can also find a video >>HERE<<

**Side Note – Paula DON’T LOOK!!**

Paula is my step mom and i am showing her mother’s day card 😛

I used Jen’s SFYTT for my first one.  the second one used a sketch from April 2005 Page Maps and the third one is one of the sketches from the new Papercrafts sketches magazine.

I used the fabulous Basic Grey Green at Heart papers.  the tulip stamps are Kitchen Sink stamps – four step stamps – each layer is done with a darker ink so you get this wonderful effect.  i finished it off with some modeling grass:

Next i used the modeling grass and made die cuts:

these are my mother’s day cards.  i LOVE making die cuts with this stuff – i just spread it as thin as i can get it on some pieces of non-stick craft sheets and let it dry completley.  then die cut it using the big sizzix dies.  The adorable birdhouses are from Artful INKables – Any Birdy Home.

i hope you all have a wonderful weekend and happy mothers day to those of you who are moms!!
