i am excited about the Artful INKables spring blog hop today!  we are all using flower/floral AI stamp sets.  You should have arrived her via Patty.  If you are here on accident and want to hop along from the beginning head over to see Kristin!

i used Jen’s sketch for this one:

and here is my card:

This was a fun sketch to work with!  my papers are from K&Co and SU.  i used one of my Martha Stewart punces to jazz up one side of the vertical panel.

here’s a close up of the stamped images:

i used stamps from 2 different sets for this card.  the birdhouse is from Any Birdy Home & the flower embellishment and swirl are both from the set Fanciful Flowers.  i LOVE the AI sets – there are so many images in each one which makes them SO versatile!  i decided to paper piece the birdhouse with the same paper I used for the card and then colored the flowers and leaves on both with copics.

I highlighted the images with a few touches of Spica glitter pens and touched up the picket fence with a white gel pen.

To continue on our hop and see all of the other wonderful things the Team did with these incredible stamp sets hop on over to Alicia’s blog!

I will be back to mothball head trying to fight off whatever i am sick with 😛

better blog siggy
