ok i am REALLY getting excited now – i leave tomorrow morning for CHA crafters HEAVEN y’all!!!!  the sneak peeks are already rolling out and oh do they look GOOD!!!!!!!  i have been checking them out over on

PRIMA – DEE LISH – i can’t see how i am going to possibly only pick a couple – this is where i always get into trouble but i am on a STRICT budget for this year!

Cosmo Cricket – ADORABLE!!

just a couple of the truly wonderful things that will be showcased at CHA.  OF COURSE the tim holtz collaboration with sizzix looks incredible!

i also ran across something totally UNrelated to CHA – K&Co. has a 12 x 24 paper pad and it is gorgeous!!

Here is whta they have to sy about it:

Paper has never been prettier can truly be said about K & Company’s 12″x 24″ Paper Pads. Lush colors and beautiful patterns team up to make papers that anyone would be proud to use in any project. Whether plain, designer or specialty these are the pads of paper that you will turn to when you want to make an impression. Handmade- Pad contains 36 total single-sided sheets, 3 each of 12 patterns. Patterns include retro inspired graphic flowers, geometric, graph, lattice, and dot. All in shades of Olive, Harvest Gold, Tangerine, Pink, Mauve, Magenta, Cadet Blue, and Sepia, all with a glossy surface. This 24″x 12″ size is perfect for large format die-cut machines and home decor projects!

A MUST HAVE for cricut-teers – this is the answer for making great projects with carts like tags, bags, boxes & more or sweet treats that are a better size!  i will not be stocking these pads BUT i do have a one time offer for everyone – these retail for $19.99.  i am offering them for $15.00 one time only when i order one for myself.  CONTACT ME if you want to get on the list for one!  marti {at}  i hope to order them once i return from CHA.

one of the highlights of my CHA trip is the HUGE dinner i am attending with all of the folks from the cricut message board that will be at CHA -there are over 30 of us having dinner together at bubba gumps!!  we will also be hanging out at a cricut related booth – Above Rubies Studio – saturday morning as well as hanging out at Robyn (the pink stamper)’s booth – absolutely thrilled to finally meet all of these folks in person that have been SUCH  huge part of my crafting life for nearly 3 years now!

one of the things we all talked about on the cricut board was making name taags so we can spot each other.  my buddy and one of my CH roomies terri asked me to make her one while i made mine so that is the project i have for ya today:

blog tag

i used the Tie The Knot cartridge for the tag base.  i cut it out once from the cardboard in an SU paper pack using the deep housing blade and then again with cricut green cardstock.  the doll is from the MOST adorable Paisley cricut cartridge and OF COURSE i added some glittered skittles!  that cute lil rosebud is from SCACD and i LOVE LOVE LOVE them!

and now i have WAY too much to do before i leave tomorrow so i better get to work!!!  i will be giving FULL reports here every day with LOADS of pics!!!!

better blog siggy
