So Regina challenged everyone to make a BIRTHDAY card using CHRISTMAS colors.  FUN!  of course i was just ITCHING to play with my Wild Card cartridge on my new expression – i mean that IS one of the main reasons i wanted it so bad!

the coordinating envelope:

i just can’t tell you how excited i am to have finally made one of the cute designs on wild card!  not that i have never used the cart – there are lots of cool frames and other things on it but i really wanted to make one of the card & envelope sets.  the largest i could cut was 5 1/4″ on my 12 x 12 mat but that is plenty big enough!  (i have a feeling i will be going thru more  for hand delivery or attaching to a gift!

i cuttlebugged and inked the icing pieces and stickled the candles so they would stand out a bit more.  (I have ALL colors in stock!)  i finished it off with a few rose red glittered skittles at the top.  You can find these and all of the other colors available right HERE.  i mounted the sentiment on a nestie cut out for the inside.

if you have a cricut and want to get motivated to bring it out more and out it to use or just want to sretch your creativity a bit regina’s Bitten By The Bug challenges are another great place to visit!

be sure and stop by tomorrow – i will be having a little contest of my own with a couple fun giveaways for you!!  it will be funny and require nearly no work on your part!

have a great day!

  1. totally fabulous eye candy…awesome card…

  2. I haven’t been able to play with my Wild Card cart yet either, so this is a great thing to look fwd to. I really like how that embossing folder looks like swirled icing.

  3. These are fantabulous!

  4. What a great card & all the details make it all the better! I have this cart & haven’t used it yet… so pitiful, I know. But your card has inspired me to take a second look at it 🙂 TFS
