welcoming christmas!

is everyone decorating????  we are little by little.  i am trying to do some long overdue cleaning at the same time too – i am THE WORST with piles.  my rother and dad are the same way – my brother calls them ina piles – everything is in a pile.  while it looks like a total disaster to others it is very catalogued in my brain and i know exactly what is where.  then i clean up and never find stuff again 😛  but they make poor hubby crazy SO……

our decorating is still fairly abbreviated due to pezzy the wonder tot so i find it hard to get into the spirit – i like to do ALOT of decorating. but she won’t be small for long.  i am realizing i don’t have much of anything in the way of christmas music or movies too.  i had stocked up on all that when the boys were little but back then it was cassette tapes and VCR tapes – anyone remember those?  well we have players for NEITHER of those so i think i need some movies and music!  my fave of ALL is miracle on 34th street – i just love everything about that movie!  i also had this incredible christmas tape of carols played on music boxes so i think i will hunt around on itunes for some good christmas tunes.  never used itunes before so i may have to get trevor to set me up (pathetic right – no ipod for me :P). i also want some harp carols – i ADORE harp music!

ok enough blabbering!  if you are in the northern VA/DC/maryland/w virginia area PLEASE join us at my very good friend Suzanne Dean’s for her holiday open house this saturday from noon to 5pm – details are on her blog.  i plan on being there all afternoon!

blog tag

i have a christmas card for you done with one of my new stamps done by my brother – these are available on my website:

if any of you are doing Tim’s 12 tags again this year (started yesterday) these stamps are really geared towards his kind of work.

i stamped the image with memento rich cocoa and then simply put flower soft christmas mix on the wreath and distressed the paper edges with distress inks and an edge distresser tool – pretty quick and easy when you have a stmap as gorgeous as this!  i cut my embellies on the cricut and layered them up with foam tape.

well i am off to walmart and michaels this morning – hopefully pezzy makes it – she was up for the day at 4:45!!!  and she didn’t go to sleep last night til 9:45!!

have a wonderful day!!

better blog siggy
