first run: ornaments

hi all!

raining and ICKY here today – i am having motivation trouble!  so instead of crafting i went through my photos from this whole year and organized them on the computer so i could go thru and figure out which ones to print and scrap.  so want to get caught up on that!  so you may be seeing more scrapping going on here!!!  in the meantime i have something else fun – ORNAMENTS!!

i got started on some ornaments – i only had 3 *cries* leftover from last year so that’s all i got done.  i searched my Ms AND Js but couldn’t find anymore – oh boy i hope they carry them again this year AND SOON!!  these are the blank porcelain/ceramic whatever you want to call it.  i was SO inspired by my friend Deb’s i just had to try some.  last year i just colored them all over with alcohol ink, stamped and then embossed using solid images – very cool but i wanted to try something different:

i stamped with stazon and then colored carefully with bic markits.  added some stickles EVERYWHERE i could along with some adhesive rhinestones.  then put  scor tape all the way around the outside and attach ribbon.  i also added a charm at the top of each one.  what do you think???

  

this last one has an ADORABLE peachy keen stamp from last year – how stinkin cute!!  kathy over at peachy keen makes the cutest stuff!!

these were SO much fun to make!  i am working on more too – also some tin ornaments and some wood ones too!
