Halloween: the last of it!

well remember when i was so sick???  i was at an SU party at my neighbors and they just all went through a bout of swine flu.  from what she described it really sounds like what we all had as well.  i gotta be honest – while i felt like crud it was certainly not anywhere near as bad as regular flu.  it is apparently making the rounds at our schools – one class yesterday only had 6 kids show up!  so for anyone overly worried about it – really not a big deal – unless you have other serious problems already.

now on to the fun:

halloween cards and treats are DONE and out the door!!  when i sat down to do lables i ended up adding a few more people so here are my last 3 cards:

pumpkin stack copy

pumpkin stack close up

this is another whipper snapper stamp i got awhile back and colored ages ago but never got around to using 🙂  i colored with copics first and then went over the pumpkins with creative inspirations paint for some real zing – LOVE that stuff!!  the sentiment is a studio G and it fit perfectly in one of the circle nesties.

Next up is my first (slightly pathetic) attempt with my new Hello Kitty cartridge:

HK halloween

i used the mojo monday sketch this week but i flipped it.  need to get the hang of HK a little better…..

last i have another image i got awhile ago and had forgotten about.  this is from northwoods and i got it at my LSS when i was there for a class.  their sample board was so amazing i couldn’t leave without a couple!!  i also have one that is a witch’s clothes line – too cute.  may have to use it for a halloween LO – especially if i have pics of my mom HAHAHHAHA!!

witch's boots

i am off for the weekly trip to super wlamart and a stop at the far-better-than-ours Michales near it to check for porcelain ornaments.

happy stampin’ y’all!!!!

  1. Your coloring is fantastic as usual, especially on the boots!

I think your HK is terrific. I just love her suit made out of pp. I had forgotten that image so I’ll have to cut a few out for Halloween.

I think HK is one of the easier ones to put together because the pieces are so big, but I do have a problem spacing them with the right amount of border sometimes. I’m so glad that you won this from the Chirp!

  2. Those are so Adorable! I especially Love the jack-o-labterns, too Cute!!!!
