How oh how did it become october??? seriously i feel like it was JUST JULY! this happens every year! i got NO papercrafting done this weekend but i DID get some *other* crafting done. Pezzy wanted to be a butterfly for halloween so i figured i better start figuring out her costume. so we were browsing online and she kept pointing out the tinkerbell ones – that is the ONLY disney princess-ish character she remotely likes. so i said you want to be a fairy? and she said yes with the butterfly wings. SO i ordered some cute lime green wings on etsy and then decided i would make the rest of her costume. so far i have the tutu nearly done:
it was actually kind of fun to make – i am going to make a big poofy hair bow and a magic wand with more of the tulle. then i think i will dress her in a green leotard or shirt and pants set – sweat suit if it will be really really cold. not so sure on the shoes yet….
anyway onto the itty bitty bit of paperccrafting i DID get done today – she who never sleeps got up at 4:10 – seriously hampers mommy’s creative time when that happens and really disrupts the *tone* for the day…
i have been trying to do my friend Melissa’s tuesday sketch and finally got it done:
i think my mojo has taken a hike due to stress and lack of sleep – i really struggled with this sketch and i can’t figure out why – it is a brilliant sketch!
my main image is one of my first from Alota – just couldn’t resist anymore and got a few awhile back in preparation for halloween. there are so many cute ones! i colored with copics, accented the tiny areas i wanted shimmery with spicas and then did the bee wings in creative inspirations light purple shimmer paint.
well i am off to convince pezzy she wants to lay outside – we spent MOST of the day yesterday going all over creation to get supplies for fixing the garage wall and then most of this morning getting the truck dropped off for repairs and getting a rental car. fun stuff y’all *ICK*!!
i have thai soup in the crock pot so the rest of my day should go a little easier….! crock pots ROCK!
