blog tag

i am posting a 2 page LO i did as part of the Summer Online Crop going on at Scrapping Friends – this group is AWESOME and their quarterly online crops are THE BEST.  I was SO glad i got to participate in this one and will be sharing stuff all week! AND THERE’S PRIZES!

The challenge for this LO was White to Wonderful:

SF18

These are pics from CHA in January

SF18 pg 1

the left page is me and catherine at the ranger booth during tim’s make n take (which is attached to the page) and at the ideology booth doing another tim make n take (attached to the other page).

SF18 close up 3really cool use of the memory bubbles.  in true tim style SO much packed into just mere minutes – he is SUCH a master!

Grungeboard luggage tag – this was the make n take over in the Ideology booth – unfortunately tim did not teaach this one or it would have gone smoother but the finished project was still super cool and all tim!

SF18 pg 2

On the right are just some silly pics n poses – the girl dressed as a giant baby was awesome!

i inked up my grungeboard pieces with distress inks and then brushed some perfect pearls over lightly and misted with water to set – gives really nice shimmer!  I painted the grungebaord crown with tarnished brass crackle paint – so tempting to put it on tim’s head but i refrained!!

This patterned paper started out as white – i used a technique called golden coat from a past issue of Technique Junkies – an invaluable resource!  i was quite pleased with it and will be using it again!

Don’t forget a new studio G challenge kicked off yesterday!  use BUTTONS along with your studio Gs!

thanks so much for dropping by!  i love the chance to share my creative fun with you!!

  1. Marti,
How old is this technique? I can go look for it on TJ reinkers myself, so don’t make yourself crazy. This really looks gorgeous – I want to start using all my older stuff as soon as I can, I’m afraid it will die on me!! I really want to try gesso, too…………….
    Thanks for sharing!!

  2. Wow! I love how you did the LO. The techniques you used are wonderful touches.

  3. Way, way too much fun! Looks like you had a blast and I just love the papers and all the Tim Holtz accessories and embellishments and products you used. Just love them! Glad to see you having some fun stamping and scrapping!

    Hugs,
