Studio G Challenge 11 – think you won’t need them ALL???

SGC blinkie

The current challenge over on the studio G group on papercraft plaanet is a color challenge – red, white n blue – i know wow original but i mean how could i NOT do it??

due to graduation shenanigans and then a magazine deadline with a last minute twist i am only just now getting my sample done!  i know alot of you are like me and went crazy collecting these and now 100s of sets later you are thinking do i need them all???  well as i was going along collecting one of the *themes* that i always paused at was the 4th of july stuff – i could not imagine ever using them.  not because i am unpatriotic mind you i just don’t see mysself sending 4th of july cards…..but then something happened.  for the first time in his LIFE my oldest will be here for the 4th instead of at his dad’s – and he is SO excited about doing fireworks for his tiny sis.  what makes this an even bigger deal?  at 18 he rarely wants to hang out and do family stuff and hasn’t for awhile.  as i was catching up on my scrapbooking recently his absence bothered me.  well now I’VE GOT HIM! hahahhahah!  so for this challenge i made a 2 page LO all ready for some 4th of july fireworks pics!!

here is the little embellie kit i made up first:

i made a title piece, some layered embellies and a piece of custom paper – super quick n easy!  here are some close ups:

and here is the full spread just waiting for lots of pics *grin* – i used a page maps sketch as always!

and remember all of the newest studio G goodies are up for pre-order in the store and shipping in mid-august – not just adorable stamp sets but ink pads – even metallics, glitter glue and die cut card sets!!!  if you are new to stamping these are THE BEST way to jump start your stamping storehouse!
