WT215: Little White Set

blog tag

I have been playing more of the SCS challenges lately and this is a little set i made for Ways To Use It:  white, white and white…..i SO cannot do white!  I LOVE all white but as hard as i try color just….happens.  SO here is my try at it – everything started out as white so it still counts!

I TOTALLY scraplifted (gift set lifted?) my buddy Suzanne and made a bookmark and tea bag holder to go with my card and will be putting them up in my recently revived Etsy shop!

I realized i had not done any cuttlebug embossing in awhile so i pulled out some borders for this one.  The scored lines are just done on a scor-pal (love that thing and diana is SO awesome!)

The image is SO hard to see – i tried everything to get some good shots – it is embossed in Bridal Tinsel so it is white and very shimmery.

Tea and a bookmark - what a NICE evening!

Tea and a bookmark - what a NICE evening!

i am not sure how suzanne made her tea bag/hot chocolate holder but i cut two coasters with nesties and then connected them with some accordian folded cardstock and tied the top with a ribbon.  there is a little piece of cardstock on the bottom to close it up too.

Now if only i ever had the kind of evening where a set like this might come into play………*sigh* i would be bored to tears in no time without my crazy kids i am SURE!
