**Project**

I think acrylic albums are dee-LISH but up until now i have only admired them from afar while collecting them in my stash of “one day i am gonna…”

I got brave not too long ago and did a mini cupcake acrylic album and now i have completed my second acrylic album!  Hardly the insane fancy-ness i admire from afar but i am quite pleased and getting braver!

the album has 16 pages if you count both the back and front of each acrylic piece so i am going to break it up into more than one post so i don’t bore y’all to tears in one shot!

mine is very UN-frou frou – i concentrated on remembering everything shows through and played up the whole sparkling aspect of the acrylic that i love so much.  i used a matchy-match set of rub ons, clear stickers and clear epoxy stickers by heidi grace that i found at joanns, matching Bo Bunny papers, some stamps and staz on (GOT to love the yummy sheer staz on colored ink pads!), stickles and my new Pez-A-Bling embellies (which are now all posted in the store).

and so here it is:

I made this for my mom to put her pics of our visit this week.  I LOVE this album because it has the little slits on the front and back (it is actually 2 album sets combined) to thread a ribbon through.  I have had it since CKC last summer and have no idea where i got it from but i will try and look up the packaging when i get home since i have like 4 others from the same company!

I put the invitation I made for the Crawfish Boil on the front cover along with some matching yellow ribbon from Michaels.  added a couple clear epoxy stickers and some yellow stickle dots on two of the corner scallops.

The first page has the inside of the invitation (which I will fill in when i add the pictures).  No additional decoration since the items on the front show through 🙂

Page 2 has clear stickers, three little glittering pezabling and my FAVE little skittlebug stamps – 2 bees, a ladybug and a snail (though they are hard to see.)  Again a few dots of lime green stickles on the opposite 2 corner scallops (so you can see them from the front page hee hee!)

and yes you CAN read the sticker in real life it just did not photograph well.

On this side i covered the wording sticker with flowers because the words are backwards on this side.  i also added beads of dimensional pearls as my skittlebug bodies and drew the lines on them with a sharpie.  Again i dotted stickles in 2 corners AND on the backside of the frame of the word sticker.

the pezabling looks really cool from the backside so i am really happy with them!

Here I stamped a couple inkadinkado inchies plus the crawfish stamp using Staz on in cactus green and cherry.  i LOVE the way it looks – really neat from both sides!  this time i dotted fruit punch stickles along the center scallops on top and bottom.

I will skip page 5 since it only has another red square mat for the picture since everything shows through including the patterned paper because it is double sided – how’s that for easy!!!

More epoxy stickers, rubons, stickles and pezabling.  Again both sides are the same since it all shows through 🙂
