Studio G challenge 4…..

Have you inked you studio Gs today???? i ADORE my studio G stamps and use them ALOT! however i have read many disturbing threads about people who collect them but never use them!!! *GASP* say it isn’t SO!!!!

to help you along I have created a studio G challenge group over on Paper Craft Planet and i really hope all of YOU fabulous customer/collectors come and join the fun! The challenges are announced every other Sunday and run for 2 weeks AND there are PRIZES!!!! thats right – the first challenge of each month is sponsored by Hampton Arts and the others are sponsored by me.

our challenge posted last sunday was to make Easter ATC-sized cards – the cards are only 3.5 x 2.5. these are quick, easy and really fun! a great way to use up scraps too!

 Here’s each of them individually:

I stamped three little eggs and filled in the designs on them with shades of liquid pearls and dimensional pearls that matched the patterned paper.

For this one i stamped two Studio G images using versamagic – i love the creaminess of versamagic and the colors are so beautiful!  the flowers are primas with diamond stickle centers.

For this one i chose more versamagic colors to match the stripey paper.  i nked up the studio G stamp with the various colors of ink (easy with the inexpensive little dew drop ink pads).  the flower centers and doodled edge are done with a turquoise spica glitter pen.

These little cards are so fun and quick and easy to make.  i just pulled all the papers out of my evergrowing scrap pile.  it works out well because i just grab the pattern i want and of course the matching solids are still right there too!  studio G stamp sets are SO useful i am amazed anyone would let them go unused!  if you are one of those who has been collecting but not using then i really hope to see you over on our studio G challenge threads.  there is one more week for this challenge and then i will post another new one!

i am expecting series 30 in stock soon!!  and i hear series 27 (cupcakes) and series 28 (fairies) have been spotted in a few of the Ms………

  1. Very cute, Marti! Love your colors and layouts!

  2. Um…that ink action you have goin’ on with the bottom card is super cool! That must be one of those multi-color ink pads? Never used one but love the look – and how it matches your paper! Sometimes matchy-matchy is a good thing. Tulips are my fave, so I’m lovin’ this card!

  3. Ooooh these are NIIIIICE!!! I’ve almost got mine up and ready to go, I need to get home and PLAY!!!

  4. I don’t think I have any Easter Studio Gs but I can probably find something springy to do with these ATCs.
