Final day of giveaways AND technostamper lunchtime sketch card

YEP that’s right – i played Mary Jo’s lunchtime sketch challenge sans electricity AND all the things i normally use when doing a card that run on electricity – like my cricut which i was going to use to do a scallop circle – or my heat gun so i could clear emboss the background stamp…..anyway!! here is the wonderful sketch:

And my card – despite it not being exactly what i wanted i do like it. the background is one of my new ones (going up tomorrow – HOORAY!!!!!). the others are from a much under-loved set from MFT – Can You Dig It.

i stamped in ranger Mushroom dye ink and colored with prismas and gamsol and then got to use the flower soft sent to me from my awesome friend Cat!!! how cool looking is that stuff????? background is stamped with versamark and dots are mushroom dimensional pearls.

so being without electricity we spent ALOT of time outside and you won’t believe what we discovered under our deck right above the hammock:

Four brand new baby birds!!!!!! how sweet is that??

and now for the final day of giveaways – up for grabs – 2 of the brand new Ranger pigment pads! i have just begun playing with these and i just LOVE the thick opaque creamy coverage they give! so leave a comment and tell me one of your favorite blogs!

ok now for some winners – as i was looking back and trying to collect myself i realize i announced a winner from wednesdays list but not tuesdays!!

so – for distress embossing powders – nicki cole!

and for crackle paints it’s Lynda – arlsmom

finally – today is the LAST day to enter the acrylic block contest – there are three places you can post – add a link to the comments under the contest post, or on the contest threads at either cricut.com message board or paperpatch.com message board. i will be posting some things i made too!!!!

When she stamps, her cards are fun. She also takes pictures of her farm animals and pets. The animals remind me of when my great grandparents were living and Grandpa and I would walk the path between the corn fields, to visit the cows.

  6. What a cute idea that is. Love the seed packets behind the wheelbarrow. Too cute, thanks for playing. And just for the heck of it — my favorite blogs change daily! There is an incredible amount of talent out there. I just found this one a couple of days ago and it is soooooo my style only much more detailed. I hope to learn from her.
