Technostamper sketch – coaster album

ok i LOVE to play the sketch challenges but i have WAY too many cards and WAY to few scrapbook pages SO i have been saying i am going to try something new and here it is. Instead of making a card i am making pages for a coaster album/mini brag book for my mom for mother’s day. i don’t know if they “count” but there you have it!!

so my first one is the album cover and it uses MJ’s sketch over at Technostamper:

I am using 4″ coasters, medium weight – available over at Pezadoodles.

First I used the cuttlebug smoosh technique from technique junkies with the fantasy floral embossing folder and Soothing Sunset big & juicy rainbow pad from Ranger Ink.

i used grungeboard letters from the new minis kit (yes it is in stock!) and inked them real well. baubles for the dots on the Is. i stamped the word heart with the alphas in the new studio g series 11 set (still searching for more) using versamark and then brushed on perfect pearls powder. i also highlighted a few of the embossed hearts with a versamark pen and pearled those too. my FAVE item is the grungeboard hearts. they are harlequin patterned and i sprayed them down really well with pearl mist made from red perfect pearls, pearl perfect pearls, fired brick reinker and water in a mini mister. this gives the grungeboard color, SUPER shimmer AND doesn’t hide the pattern at all!! and so super easy! you will be seeing more of that as i have lots of new grungeboard in!! all of these items (except the cuttlebug folder and sold out series 11) can be found over at Pezadoodles so come on over!!
