STUDIO G TIME!!! New challenge posted!

WHEW!  got to spend some stampin time with my fave buds – my SU group for tech club friday night and then my CTMH demo and one of the girls in our scrappin group saturday afternoon - i tell ya i so need those get togethers!  pezzy came with me saturday and played with cori’s 3 girls and cindy’s 2 boys and had a BLAST.  she asked if we could play there every day and never bothered me ONE time while i sat and scrapped!

AND i have a project for you too!!!!

 

Michelle is issuing up another challenge for your studio Gs!!  this week she is challenging us to use TORN paper.  i don’t do torn paper often but i like the look!  this time i used the sketch from tuesday morning sketches again and made another recipe card for the boys’ recipe books:

All three stamps are from one set of series 37 and i used the studio G metallic inks too!  orange for the stamping and charcoal for the edging.  these have such GREAT shimmer and sparkle IRL!

i cut this little guy out with a nesties set, edged in charcoal and then added the little orange glittered skittles.  i think he is just the CUTEST!

i hope y’all find time to join in on the challenge – i have been shipping these sets out fast  furious so i know there are lots of y’all with great stamps to use!!  and ink and glitter glue too!

this one is a sketch challenge – thanks michelle for the fantastic sketch!

 

 

and here is my card:

i used SG inks AND stamps on this one - including one of the new metallic ink pads - LOVE them!  i stamped randomly and made my background.  then i created a little mini border by embossing first then stamping a border using one of the handy little borders that come in the SG sets.  sentiment is SG also with a little border of chocolate sparkle pezabling acrylic squares.

**studio G challenge time**

i LOVE studio G challenge time!! i have not had time to go through very much of the new stuff yet but i did pull out some of the bohemian ones for my card. Michelle is taking over the pcp group duties for me and will be posting a sketch for this one so here is my card (a bit early):

this sketch was a bit different for me and i wasn’t sure what to do with it but i think it really came out cute – i just ADORE this paper from the new rustic DCWV stack!  this card was so quick to put together – the german scrap was a perfect touch i think!  i DO wish i had been able to dig out the metallic inks for this one but maybe once i get sorting i will do another card with them so y’all can see them!  instead i used brilliance pearlescent rust.  the 3 little pezabling acrylic squares matched up perfectly!

short & sweet today as i have massive running around for football gear and the other kid is working – but i hope to get in a trip to a bigger michaels to check for their studio Gs……

It’s that time again - a new studio G challenge - and an easy one – all you have to do is make a card (or any other project) using your studio G stamps and

I used Jen’s Sketch For You To Try for this week as well as the OCCC Triple Play embellie challenge – use 3 types of embellies – i have ribbon, buttons and stickles.  the stickles does not show well in the pick (overcast today) but i used it on the cupcakes, scallop edge AND to highlight bits of the pattern on the cupcake paper.

It’s that time again – Studio g challenge!

The next Studio G Challenge started today over on Papercraft Planet!  I have another sketch for you this time:

I had so much fun with my stamps i ended up with THREE samples (they will be going into the stash of cards I am building up for my MIL when she comes for graduation.)

i do not have a *formal* supply list for you as i was mostly just grabbing at the scraps and things all around me on my table but if you have any questions just ask!

i have noticed several threads lately where people discussed having trouble getting a good image with their Studio Gs.  I never have this problem and so i am thinking a short video may be in store demonstrating a few tips to get the most out of your studio Gs – since this will also be my first ever video it will have some yummy studio G card candy to go with it for one lucky winner so be sure and keep an eye out for that!
