Cricutters Anonymous

happy Friday y’all!!!

i am at my mom’s now and have limited internet access (last time my IT specialist/hubby stays behind).  Pez is SO cute – we met the family who bought our family’s plantation home next door and they have a little boy who is 2 weeks older than pez.  well BOY did they hit off!!!!!  they played together ALL DAY yesterday and she woke up asking for him first thing this morning.  so his momma (Gemi) called awhile ago and said brett wants to come pick up Hollyn on his 4 wheeler (a little kiddy one) and bring her back over here.  *squeal* how cute is THAT!  i had NO camera yesterday over there but i will get pics of them together at some point.

we are heading over to St Mary’s where his sister & brother go to school to see a Cajun Day thing they are putting on so i have to make this quick!

I wanted to be sure and get my Cricut challenge project up – we have a new name!  Just Buggin is now Cricutters Anonymous and our current challenge is to make a woman themed project.  i did these tags for a tag swap i am in:

talk about super quick n easy – ALL of the pieces axcept the lower patterned piece were cut with the Sweet Treats Cartridge – i inked the edges and put them together – SUPER simple but OH SO CUTE!!!!

Gemi next door has been thinking about getting a cricut so i told her she MUST.  she said she is gettin’ one now so i can teach her how to use it while i am here!

spring means NEW GRASS!!!

AAAAHHHHH  i am writing to you from my back deck WITH NO COAT ON EVEN!!!  there’s sunshine….birds chirping….light breeze blowing….i am in HEAVEN!!!!

This is a SUPER easy way to cute little project for you today – Easter Tags!

AAAWWWWWWW!!!!

i wanted to experiment a little with another new Viva Decor product called Modeling Grass and i thought – well easter is sure the perfect time for the Lime Green right!?!??!

i cut these tags out using the Cricut Easter mini cartridge – except for the pink and yellow circles – those are nesties.  I inked all of my ages with my INDISPENSIBEL foam ink blending tool and then layered them all together.

after they were together i added some modeling grass at the bottom for a really effective dimensional grass look.  Susana already has a couple colors in stock at SCACD - let’s hope she gets more!  I finished them off with some gorgeous droplets of green from aa Viva Decor Gloss Gel pen.  These pens make perfect little droplets of transparent gel in seconds!  I hear rumors these will be showing up at SCACD soon too so i will be sure to keep you posted as they are deeLISH!
