Aurora is out to play today

hi everyone!

Yay for thursday! almost to the weekend!  i have a busy one of working planned but i don’t mind because i like the feeling of getting things accomplished KWIM???

before we get to my post i want to let you all know that you will NOT want to miss tomorrow’s post – especially if you enjoy shopping!  it is BIG sort of sad sort of not news. 

but for today i have a fun post for my good friend susana at susana’s custom art & card design – her store is full of an incredible array of goodies to meet the whims of lots of different papercrafting folks!  check her out!!!

this week we have all been using flower soft along with some of the latest Aurora stamps by victoria case – you can ONLY get them from Susana!!

i used Aurora – Berry Nice:
I started with a patterned paper from the 6×6 Kaisercraft Lilac Avenue collection of papers. my bow is done with the bow easy - it really does make it easy to whip up a little bow accent!

i stamped my little aurora with mementos and colored her with copics. i wanted to give her some magical sparkle so i went over some spots with the super sparkly Viva Decor Hologram Glitter Liner. I mixed several colors of green Flowersoft and sprinkled it around her feet to add some interest to the grassy area where she is sitting. i considered adding flower soft to her berries and turning them into flower bunches but Pez was supervising and had a fit SOOOO they are berries

I finished things off with some PERFECT pearl droplets of Viva Decor Yellow Pearl Pen at the top of Aurora’s panel as well as down the punched border.

Susana has added SO MANY exciting things to the store recently – i encourage you all to go explore a little bit!!!
