hi all!!!
almost to the weekend! YAY!
before getting into my project for TIOT today i have one quick tidbit for you – a REALLY GOOD DEAL for you! i have some misc goodies from the FANTASTIC new stuff Tim Holtz released at CHA. i will not be stocking these items so i am putting them on sale for 20% off!!!! there are very few of each here – some items i only have ONE of – so once they are gone they are gone. i have the Texture Fades embossing folders, the new distress ink pads (so gorgeous) and lots of random ideology stuff!
Suzanne issued the DT a FABULOUS challenge this week – use Viva Decor – oh you don’t have to tell me twice!!! i have been obssessed with them since i first stumbled on them online just before CHA. My card today uses the Viva technique my daughter, Pezza (nickname), came up with for her recent video HERE:
I used this weeks sketch from SCS for my LO. The patterned paper is from Kaisercraft Hello Birdie - the whole pad is gorgeous! i m also lovin’ all the little chipboard goodies Susana got in and used a few here. i started by putting layer of diamond glaze on them. then sprinkled them with glitter. when that dried i put another layer of diamond glaze on top. I also used Diamond Glaze to adhere them to the card so i would have a good seal and then i filled in the flower centers and parts of the butterfly with kiwi pearl pen and the rest of the butterfly with Sunshine Yellow Gloss Gel – you can see the design underneath through the gel – i am lovin’ it!!! thanks susana for the idea!

i had a lot of fun with my main image panel. i used the Viva technique Pezza did in her video with two Viva Decor Gloss Gel pens - Magenta and Orange. These really give you a gorgeous soft background in nothing flat -just sponge them on! Next i stamped randomly with this way too cute little dandelion puff seed image – it is one of TWO bonus images from the exclusive Victoria Case Hearts & Hugs Summer Collection. i cut out the HI with my Plantin SchoolBook Cricut cartridge.
